"After my student internship at Fremont Veterinary Clinic, I always used my experience here as my benchmark for a great practice. I loved the clients, the staff, the great medicine, and the Fremont “family”. I feel fortunate to have landed back here."
Ross
Dr. White went to high school and college in New England. After first earning a PhD genetics, she graduated with honors in 1997 from Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She first came to Fremont Veterinary Clinic as an intern while completing her studies at OSU. Upon graduation she did her internship at University of Minnesota after which she worked in mixed large and small animal practice for 3 years. After spending three chilly and muddy years in barnyards she decided to move inside and then spent four years in small animal emergency and critical care practice. Dr. White knew from the time she was 8 years old that she would grow up to be a veterinarian. She thrives on the day to day challenges that she faces with such a wide range of medical interest. She has particular interests in surgery/critical care and in diagnostic imaging. With the addition of a new ultrasound machine at Fremont Veterinary Clinic, she looks forward to developing this area of the hospital and better serve her patients needs. She enjoys learning all that she can to deliver the very best in veterinary care for your pets. She resides with her cat ‘Django’ and her dog ‘Henry’. Dr. White enjoys running (now “shuffling” since her knee surgery), cycling and is working towards getting her pilot’s license.
